At our meeting today, we heard from Cass Nagar, the Senior Fund Development Officer at Kennedy House Youth Shelter.
The Rotary Club of Toronto Leaside has a history supporting Kennedy House and all the amazing work they do for youth aged 16 to 24. The COVID-19 pandemic has had many negative impacts on youth from homelessness to mental health challenges and immigration and the need for support has increased.
Though they receive funding from the City of Toronto, they rely heavily on support from donations to continue running these programs.
